The 2nd Amendment

     Now let us take a look at the 2nd amendment. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed"         It is also necessary to include a Webster's dictionary definition of the word militia; an army composed of citizens rather than professional soldiers called up in a time of emergency.      There are numerous examples of the militia being throughout our nation's history. These are right's that every Citizen of the United States enjoys. Today we are going to look at the 1st Amendment,    "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press;  or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."     A little history on the "establishment clause." They mean that we the People are supposed to be in charge. Why is it that People in Washington think it is their job to rule over us? They are supposed to lead us, not rule over us.   Let us look at the Preamble to the Constitution .   We the People of the United States in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.   We the people need to exercise our rights under the Constitution, most important is the right to vote before we lose them. To do that we must learn what the Constitution says for ourselves. Not what some politician, judge, or a government bureauc
